Brothers and Sisters,
Let us Celebrate one positive thing today, the 4th of July. As much as we want to motivate change in our society, there are some things that are good and noble and worth continued support. I would suggest that we could encourage joy in the freedoms that we are given by our Constitution and Bill of Rights.
I wrote in my online journal about the Freedom of Speech, and how I believe it should be supported, no matter how terrible the things people wish to speak freely about (and included an example I consider to be particularily opposed to peace and freedom and understanding).

Please spare the time to post something in your own online journals - take out an advertisement in the paper, send emails to your friends, print out posters, or scrawl on napkins in bars ... whatever method of expression works best for you.
Peace to those who wish Peace, Freedom to those who wish Freedom,
Carrie (aka Sister Katana of Sweet Reason)
